Anna Beshoar
Costume Designer
Anna Beshoar is a designer, stitcher, and wardrobe tech hailing from southern Illinois. The world of theater was the culmination of years of drawing cool costumes, making doll clothes, and yearly cosplay. Anna has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in costume design from Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theater Arts. During her time in the Sargent Conservatory she designed costumes for Student Voices and Mud. Other Conservatory positions included wardrobe head, stitcher, draper, first hand, crafts head, and props and paint crews. Anna’s professional work began with the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ 2022 season, consisting of Carmen, The Magic Flute, Harvey Milk, and Awakenings. She recently returned for their 2025 Festival Season. Other Recent professional work includes stitching and wardrobe crew for Stages St. Louis’ Aida, and costume tech for Maine State Music Theater's 2024 season. In her free time Anna is a giant nerd who enjoys reading, writing, drawing, doting on her animals, and documentaries on topics ranging from archaeology and shipwrecks to ghosts and cryptids.
Anna is currently studying for her Masters in costume design at Temple University's School of Theater, Film, and Media Arts.
